| Liquid Applied Elastomeric
(PU) Membrane |
GS 5000 is a
single component, liquid applied elastomeric membrane.
It can be applied by roller, brush or by spraying. GS
5000 can be easily applied to corners, angles and non-uniform
surfaces. This material forms very good elongation and
a flexible waterproof membrane after curing. |

| Greenseal
5000 |
Greenseal
5000 is a single component liquid, cold
applied, seamless elastomeric PU membrane.
Greenseal 5000 is specially formulated
for application by roller to horizontal
surface and by trowel for some vertical
surfaces. Greenseal 5000 can also be used
for spraying by airless spray gun.
Greenseal
5000 is designed specially for use as
a flexible continuous waterproofing membrane:
above grade, between two-course concrete
as for roof waterproofing, between masonry
construction and bituminous toppings and
also for exterior below grade waterproofing
of masonry as well as for roof waterproofing
between two concrete courses.
For
ultimate results, it is important to ensure
that the substrate is reasonably dry before
applying Greenseal 5000. For temperatures
above 90 ?F ( 32 ?C), bubbling may result.
In order to prevent this from happening,
a thin coat of GS 5000 should be rolled
/ sprayed over the concrete hot surface.
This covers the concrete surface with
a thin layer, particularly the pores and
holes of the concrete surface. This term
is called 'pre-wetting' of the concrete
surface. |

| Key
Features: |
 |
Among
the advantages are the elastomeric
characteristics of Greenseal 5000
which permit nominal expansion and
contraction without losing bond
to the substrate, thus protecting
structurally sound, occupied areas
from water penetration. |
| |
|
 |
Greenseal
5000 takes advantages over torch-on
membrane system, which has numerous
overlaps to take care, or multiples
bitumine hot felt system, or mechanically
fixed system that has to be fitted
to the contour of the roof. |
| |
|
 |
Effective
in temperature ranging from -40oF
to + 180oF ( -40oC + 82oC), Greenseal
5000 demonstrates excellent resistance
to bacterial attack and the deteriorating
effects of many acids, alkalis,
and salts. |
| |
|
 |
The
ease of application, plus its rubber-like
seamless nature, makes Greenseal
5000 a far more practical and reliable
waterproofing system than 'hot-top',
multiple-felt systems or fitted
pieces of plastic or rubber sheeting. |
